Hey Michael If Seekers are on Facebook, or want to join Facebook, they can click that they are Attending the Tweetathon on that Facebook Event Page (It makes it easy to share the Tweetathon info with other Seeker friends who are on Facebook too)

The Facebook Event was created to let Seekers know to be on Twitter on Jan. 24th.2012 from 12Noon to 2PM ET and trend the Hashtag #CraigHorner

However that info is shared is good

* Do Not Curse/Swear in your tweets - they will Not count towards a trend.


* If you have a 'Private' Twitter account, you'll need to change it to 'Public' if you want your Tweets to count towards Trending. (You can always change your account back to Private after the trending event. ) Or you could create a separate Public Twitter account for Trending.


* "Twitter Jail" -This happens when you tweet more than your limit in a day/in an hour, so it's good to have an eXtra Twitter account or two when this happens.
You can tell when you're in "Jail" as a message will come up saying something similar to: "Oops! An Error Has Occurred". Then that account is usually "Frozen" for at least an hour, sometimes more.


* Pre-Schedule Your Tweets
If you're not able to be on Twitter during the focused time of 12 Noon to 2 PM ET on Jan. 24th/2012, you can schedule your tweets days in advance with:

(When searching on Twitter for #CraigHorner , when the results come up, please click on 'All' instead of the default of 'Top', so that you can see ALL of the other Seekers' tweets to choose from )

-Please try to retweet the "original" tweet with the hashtag, so that the hashtag doesn't get cut off.

I know it's no big difference but 46 is better than 47. Also I kept refreshing the Earth For Now page waiting for them to upload the pics and when they did I nearly flailed myself to death. I miss Craig on my TV and I can't wait for Bridget Regan's tweetathon

Good Job Dontfailmenow! I kept checking, but the lowest I caught was the 47! Overall we did a fantastic job!

Thanks for the updates.

I wish I could have done more to help promote the Tweetathon. I didn't even have time to configure Tweetdeck properly. It shut me down and left me with a spreadsheet filled with unscheduled Tweets.

I'm really glad our message got through to Craig. I couldn't believe I hadn't heard of EarthForNow before now (or, if I had, that I had forgotten about it).

Don't know if I can help much with a January 29 Tweetathon for Jessica Marais -- is that a sure thing? I mentioned it in a couple of blog posts.

Will definitely try to do better for Bridget on February 3.
