I laughed so hard when the Mad Hatter told Emma to sew a hat, I don't think Emma's domesticated enough to even know which end grab on a scissors not to mention sew a hat.
I was so mad when Emma started to believe the Mad Hatter, because it was so clear that she was lying, I didn't think for a moment that she was telling the truth. But at least at the end she was curious enough to look in the book.

And what was MM's big plan after breaking out of jail? Just run away? Stupid plan.
But at least some of Snow's badassness started to show in her.

You're not the only one who noticed Emma's ever so luxurious and wavy hair.
The reviews I read about the show always has a whole paragraph devoted her hair and its ridiculousness.
I for one still prefer Jennifer with brown hair like in the early seasons of House.

I loved the fairytale part of the show, it finally gave us the answers about Regina and Snow. Poor Regina, how wicked her mother was. I'm curious what Regina's done to her mother, I don't think she just let her mother be after what she'd done to her and Daniel.

The girl who played young Snow, Bailee Madison, looked just like a young Ginnifer. But her acting, I think some of her gestures, expressions were overplayed. Or maybe I think that because I'm still traumatized by the movie 'Just Go with It' where she played that irritating, affected little girl.

I whole-heartedly agree with this. I've been looking forward to this episode for a while. I was really interested to see how they would play it. I think I expected something a little more malicious or catty from Snow, but I was pleasantly surprised. And I loved Regina's role. Finally, a look into what makes her who she is, and I'm pleased that they took a Wicked type approach for her character here. My only complaint was her rather quick acquiescence to her mother's wishes in the end of the episode, but it's not a movie and time constraints are a factor, so I get it.

And yes, I felt the same way about the little girl. Because of her age, she's still perfecting the art of subtlety and it's much more obvious when a child has been told to emulate an adult actor. I definitely had the exact same sentiment, though. I didn't remember her in "Just Go With it" until you mentioned it, but now that you DO mention it, I guess she is typecast as a precocious pre-teen. (For me, Just Go With It wasn't all that memorable, )

Just one week more and the show will return¡¡

Josh Dallas has clearly cast a spell on his Once Upon a Time costar Ginnifer Goodwin.

Weeks after US Weekly first reported the two had been secretly dating since last fall, Dallas, 33, and Goodwin, 30, made their first joint red carpet appearance at the "My Valentine" music video premiere party, hosted by Paul and Stella McCartney, in West Hollywood Friday.

"They were cute, but not overtly affectionate," an eyewitness tells Us. "They were standing shoulder to shoulder though and talking low and leaning in to each other smiling."

Another observer spotted the costars slow dancing to The Ink Spots' "I Don't Want to Set the World on Fire" later that evening. "It was a very cute moment, as the couple seemed to lose track of the fact that they were not the only people in the room."

The event brought out some of Hollywood's biggest stars, including Gwyneth Paltrow and ChrisMartin, Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom, Kristen Stewart, Gwen Stefani, Zooey Deschanel, Jane Fonda, Pamela Anderson and a pregnant Reese Witherspoon.

Goodwin and Dallas' relationship didn't surprise their costars. At the opening night of Billy Elliot in Hollywood Thursday, Raphael Sbarge -- who plays Jiminy Cricket/Archie Hopper on the ABC fantasy series -- told Us "they're so lovely" together.

There's such genuine affection, which you can see on screen," Sbarge gushed. "You can see how they just interact with each other. It's genuine."
    So cute¡

The last few episodes have been really really good. We're down to the final two episodes of the season and the ratings have stayed consistenly good throughout! Bring on season 2.

I can't say that there wasn't any progress in the latest episode, that's for sure.

But I have some things to nitpick about.
First, where the Mad Hatter's been all this time? If he didn't get back to the fairytale land then what's happened to him, and why isn't he in jail after what he did to MM and Emma? Emma again proved to be a lousy sheriff, she's not even a great bounty hunter if Mad Hatter could get away from her.
I just hated that he came out of nowhere without explanation.

And why Snow thought she ruined Regina's happiness if she didn't know about Daniel's faith? It seemed like she still thought after so many years that Daniel just left Regina which can't be Snow's fault. So, what did Snow think she did to anger Regina so much?

And last, I know it was for visual effectiveness for the last shot, but it was not very motherly from Emma to just stand there when Henry dropped on the floor. Her first instinct should've been to run to Henry's aid.

But I loved the scene where MM was angry with Emma. MM behaved like a pissed off mother and since she is Emma's mother it was priceless!

    edit:
One more thing. Why was Regina so worried about the curse and the town ppl? Nothing really suggested that ppl are getting back their memories or that anything is really changing regarding the curse. So why this sudden worry.

And why would Emma's death break the curse? That information also came out of nowhere.
Her death wouldn't help Snow and Charming get back their happy ending, on the contrary it'd devastate them for life. So, if Regina kills Emma and the curse breaks she would still win. So I can't see it as a counteract for the curse. Emma's death should prevent the breaking of the curse.

Here is the promo for the finale next Sunday for anyone who hasn't seen it yet. Warning, the promo contains some spoilers, but it looks INSANE! Seems an excellent way to close out the season! I can't wait and this week is going to be torture while waiting!

I'm loving SO MUUUUUUCH fairy tale land.
But StoryBrooke seems a bit boring for me.
I dislike that Emma vs Regina fights for Henry. Come on, fight for your mother, she is the evil queen¡¡¡
Why is Emma Snow' daugther if she doesnt fight anything for her parents?

Fairy tale land, even with awful cgi lol, is PERFECT for me.
Apple scene with Regina vs Snow and Charming feeling the pain......and that OST.....OH MY GOD.
Snow and Charming remind me SO MUCH Richard & Kahlan.

I just watched the season finale tonight. And I'm not satisfied with it.

Things just happened so out of the blue, and then the curse and everything resolved too fast. There were not enough progress in the season's storyline that justified the events. In the 21 episodes leading up to the finale nothing really changed. Emma's present in the town did almost nothing to the people living there, they didn't start to remember or suddenly see the world differently because Emma was there. And Emma didn't start believe in the curse, she didn't even experience anything that would've swayed her.

Only MM changed in the course of the season, but even she didn't get the chance to become herself on her own and in a way redeem herself. None of her progress matter because she turned out to be irrelevant to breaking the curse. She could've stayed the way she was in the pilot because she would've been freed from the curse like everyone else was in the town.

So yeah, I didn't like the finale. I'd be more satisfied if the only thing that happened in the episode is that Emma starts to believe in the curse. It'd be more in tune with the season's pace.

My major complain of the episode is:
Why is it that when Emma touched the book she suddenly realized the truth? She held the book even read it a couple of times before, so why is this happened now and this way? I didn't like that turn of events at all, it was a cheap solution from the writers IMO.

I loved Regina, now I totally believe that she loves Henry. Lana Parrilla was great.

And how wierd it was when Snow proposed to take over the kingdom? She sounded like a power hungry megalomaniac for a second.

I pretty much agree with everything you said. It was just okay for me, and I expected a little more.

What bothered me was Mr. Gold and Belle. Absolutely nothing happened really, except he said, "Oh, hi! You're alive, goody! Now, watch this." Regina mentioned that he had manipulated everyone, which is stupid, but I guess he did. Why would you hide the egg in a dragon and then have Emma go get it later? Seems to me if he just went to Maleficent and asked for the egg, she'd have coughed it up to bring magic back and get some hot revenge on Regina. I'm not buying that he couldn't get to her without this elaborate scheme to get Emma to retrieve it.

But whatever, I digress. It didn't make a lick of sense, if you ask me. Mr. Gold accomplished absolutely nothing with everything he's done, except to waste 20-something years of his time. So he dropped a bottle of true love into the well and brought magic back. IF bringing magic back is so important, why give Regina the curse to begin with? If all he wanted to do was move to the world his son went to, then why didn't he just use the curse himself instead of telling Regina how to use it? He didn't expect Belle to be alive, so it's not like he was fighting for her. (Incidentally, why does Regina care about her anyway?) I think Emile de Ravin is great, but Belle kinda isn't necessary at all in the story line. It's filler they couldn't decide what to do with.

    "Hey, Adam?"
    "Yeah, Edward?"
"You remember that week when we told the story of Beauty and the Beast?"
    "Yeah, why?"
"Well, we kinda forgot about her so we should probably have her show up and have absolutely zero impact on the story."
"Yeah, great idea! It worked with Lost!"

It was my understanding that Mr. Gold hated his magic, because of what he lost. When he had that conversation with August a few eps ago, I thought that was pretty clear. Now, he wants magic in Storybrooke?? OMG, I'm confused...I thought he just wanted to be with his son, who incidentally is nowhere to be found. And somewhere in all the confusion, I can't remember who Charming's father really is either. Wiki says he's of royal blood, but I don't remember that part. Something about a deal with Rumpelstiltskin, but I can't remember. :-( Too much information!

Lana Parilla...check. I love her character. She is amazing, and does such a fantastic job with her role. However, she doesn't write the story, so I guess she has to make due with what she's given.

I do love the innuendos in the last few seconds that it is GAME ON again for the Evil Queen. She looks terribly pleased with the fact that magic is returning (or coming, that's never been very clear) to Storybrooke.

In the beginning, they promoted this as something completely different and new, separate from Lost. In my opinion, it's the same type of show exactly. Lots of questions going unanswered, and crazy plot lines that just fizzle out and get pushed aside. Time warps and subplots of subplots. If it's a duck, just say it's a duck?!!?

I like the show, contrary to my first impressions. That being said, the season finale was completely lackluster for me and didn't leave me on the edge of my seat. It was a very messy episode, and didn't accomplish anything. If it was meant to be a convergence of all these plot lines, I think it failed miserably in that regard.

And Aci...I love your pic! Lmao! My thoughts exactly!

Everything happened too fast but I loved the epi, so much.

    THE BEST:
    Snow and Charming, my babies
    Emma/Charming and the Dragon, amazing
Second season will be very different, yeah¡
    The music

    THE WORST:
Belle and Rumpel, awful. I can't with this twist
No Charming family scenes (Emma, hello¡¡¡¡??? your parents¡¡¡?)
Emma&Henry&Regina stuff. I love Henry and Emma but all this Snow' step mother + Snow' daughter + Snow grandson....O_o weird.

Conclusion: Amazing show for Disney freaks as me (lol), enjoyable, magic..But cheap cgi, some filler episodes, some soap opera plots...Not perfect, of course. I hope season 2 is better and better because that story can be incredible.

I have to keep reminding myself to keep my defensive side in check and that these are all just personal opinions, not trying to cause a row. Hey we all have our defensive sides. Plus you people are my friends here so it's easier for me to express my disagreement in a more calm way. XD Yeah, I admit I'm a defensive person when it comes to things I love.

I loved the finale, personally, loved it. I am thrilled that it got renewed and I'm already doing everything I can to help the show live a long life. Yeah the ratings are good and the show is safe for now, but I'm still running a campaign of my own to keep it safe. ^_^ Plus the lineup it's in next season is outstanding. Anyone out there who hopes it doesn't get season 3 may be disappointed.

So, I will continue to be a major supporter of the show and promote it as much as I can. In fact in my opion, Seeker is the only show at the moment that tops this one.

I think Belle is MORE than necessary in the storyline. In fact I think she will be a major plot point next season. Regina told Rumple that Belle died, when actually, Regina had her locked away the entire time. Not only did she lie to Rumple, she took away the one thing he possibly had left to love since Bae was gone. I predict this will set up a war between Rumple and Regina that will last all season long.

Regina and Rumple weren'y exactly friendly towards each other this season, but compared to what will happen between them in season 2, they will seem like best friends in season 1. She may not have had much impact in the finale but did you expect her to never show up again? I mean to say she has no impact on the story just is't true. She is in fact a major plot point in the story. In fact they will probably set up a situation later where Rumple would be forced to choose between her and Bae

People think that Rumple was being incredibly selfish, stupid and an idiot and going against his agenda to find Bae, and how his lust for power is how he lost Belle the first time. I say, wait for season 2 before really complaining over his reasons for wanting magic. We have no idea what his motivation was behind doing that. Maybe he NEEDS the magic to help him find Bae or it's the only way for him to find Bae. We just simply don't know yet.

You may have to clear some of that up for me ATLGurl. yeah the show is similar to LOST but the show has answered tons and tons of questions over the course of the season. As for the unanswered questions, it's only the first season, you can't expect them all to be answered in season 1. Already the show has done a much better job at answering questions than LOST ever did. Also some plots that seem "pushed to the side" or "fizzled out", again, it's just season 1. there is no way to resolve everything established in season 1, within season 1. How did the finale NOT accomplish anything? It set up a major game changer for season 2.

I respect your opinion of course, I just respectfully disagree on almost all levels. I thought the finale was a great way of setting up season 2.

Is there any news about Emile de Ravin joining the cast for next season? Because Belle's importance might depend on the availability of Emile.
Also Giancarlo Esposito (Magic Mirror/Sidney Glass) is in one of the picked up show's pilot. Don't know if it's a recurring role or just a one time thing, but we might not seem him again in OUaT or less than before. I think I saw his name in the hospital basement on one of the doors, I think Regina locked him up there next to Belle.

I'm curious who will side with whom in the upcomming battle or it will be a three-sided war, Regina vs. Rumple vs. Snow and her gang or there'll be unlikely alliances?
