    I loved it!

I totally dig the 501st idea. I'm completely onboard there! I'll be looking forward to hearing more about this when you have time outside of your commitments. I spoke with Jenn a little about my upcoming costume, and I'm happy to report I've started a sort of apprenticeship with a local leathersmith to learn how to work leather properly. It's actually a lot more fun, and less tedious than I thought it would be. ;-) I think because of your efforts with Jenn's mord sith costume, I have a huge advantage on understanding the scope of what goes into it. It was an awesome costume, but besides that, hugely helpful that it was documented in pictures and the thread. Love it.

I keep finding myself watching the seasons on TV over and over again, and rereading the books on my kindle. It's a little sad how attached I am to all of the books in one module. I am actually doing a little research on amazon to find out how to get more Goodkind coverage in the ereader medium, but that's another subject for another forum.

In finally listening to the podcast today, just wanted to say thanks for taking time out to keep doing it. I just wanted to offer my support in getting together any fandom ideas out there. I look forward to seeing all my new seeker friends invade Atlanta next year. It's awfully dull around here without passing stormtroopers and confessors downtown!

I'd love to hear more about the local conventions you mentioned, and would appreciate if someone could shoot me a little info about the Birmingham events. Working for a large hotelier makes travelling to these types of events a heck of a lot more appealing, and a lot easier on the pocketbooks. I'd personally enjoy just a few minutes at the end of each podcast pointing out any upcoming events to keep the Seeker on the map. Obviously, most of us can't travel halfway around the world to attend, but it's always exciting to find out that something is going on right in your own backyard.

    Cheers!

    Thanks for the great feedback.

Like most of us supporting this show is a 'labor of love' and Jenn, Kurt and I. We really enjoy getting together to talk about Seeker so while our podcast release schedule may vary as our real lives get in the way rest assured that our commitment won't vary.

Your idea about mentioning upcoming conventions on the podcast is a great idea because now that we all need to keep Seeker as visible as possible fan conventions are a great way to do that.

While I am dissappointed in the in the delay, I completely understand. Stone of tears is a large book, probably would take 7-8 podcasts to cover it, so even if you started now and did it weekly it wouldn't be finished before the holiday season anyway. If you guys still need assistance, such as writing recaps for the chapters let me know, I am more than willing to help. I don't think a new podcast would really help, unless you guys are not confident that you will have enough time later.

Must be mindful of the 3rd rule and not let my love for the books make me impatient.

Thanks for your understanding! Yeah, we are looking at somewhere around 10 podcasts to cover SOT. Whew! I do still need one more person to cover recaps, so if you are interested, shoot me a private message with your e-mail address and I can add you to the list!
