    Was just thinking of the irony if we can get Nathan Fillion to back SoS. He is currently starring in Castle, an ABC network show.

    There would be some poetic justice in there somewhere. An ABC star backing SoS!

    i'm at Comic Con. I saw a Mord Sith costume yesterday, but otherwise I haven't seen anything related to the show at all.

    He and Felicia Day are friends (or seem to be), so getting Nathan on our side may not be so hard

    Sadly our volunteer who was going to wear a mother confessor dress had her luggage lost so the day we met she didn't have it. I did meet a different mother confessor but unfortunately I didn't have my camera at the time. I know of two other women who were going to dress as mord-sith the next day but I never ran into them again so I didn't get a chance to see their outfits which were based on the book mord-sith (with so many people that's really common). I didn't want to post a picture of the back of the iTune card as it gives the instructions for how to get the free download and I didn't think we wanted that floating around the internet.

    It's nothing specific. My husband and I have worked at renaissance festivals and attended SCA events here and there so we have a lot of that sort of costuming. We just like dressing up at Comic-con. When Pirates of the Caribbean was still hugely popular we would dress with a more piratical flair.
