    Bookie Cast Ideas and Suggestions

    Hi folks,

    On our latest podcast we talked a bit about possibly doing a 'Bookie Cast' during the summer.

    This thread is for folks to share any ideas or suggestions about that.

    I'm up to Pillars of Creation and would love to listen/participate in the bookie podcast. I'm a late-comer to them but I'm loving the series so far.

    Yes! A bookie cast for WFR over the summer would be great! I actually just finished reading wfr and it was awesome! Loved the dragon. Although I seem to have a problem picturing Darken Rahl as a blond...lol.

    Several episodes back I said that I would commit to read 'Wizard's First Rule' once we got our season 3 renewal announcement. Since then Kurt has been guilting me into doing it no matter what.

    Since I watch 10-12 TV shows a week in order to discuss them on the podcasts that I work on it's just a matter of setting aside the time to read the book. I tend to be more of a media (TV & movies) junkie than I am a book reader. However, once we get into June many of the TV shows that I watch will go on hiatus so I should have more available time.

    Yup me too. The book is amazing and now you say you love LotS............. wait till you read the first three chapters. I'm really excited. Wait a minute - why am I excited?     Not to try to add too much fuel to the fire Kevin but you have said yourself that you love the Richard and Kahlan shipper side of the show very much and I would say anyone who does that will find it very hard not to fell in love with the sword of truth series. Of course we all only have so much time so I hope you do find some time in june to at least try out WFR.

    Well I am certainly not part of that group even if there is one Although I would imagine there are some who watch the show for Cara now in season 2

    cant wait for the podcast!!! just a suggestion though go by chapters not by page numbers. because i have some hardback and some of the smaller paperback so if you go by page numbers people could get really mixed up. thankx again

    You guys can correct me if I am wrong but I think Jenn mentioned that they will go by chapters to make it easy for Kevin if he picks up the audio book version.

    Yes, the plan is to do things by chapters so it won't matter if you're listening to the audio version, reading the mass market paperback or the hard cover.

    We can all be "on the same page".

    Definitely keep Jenn's five minute recaps for the chapters. I think it really helps get you back into the mindset of the story.
