Maybe, but still.. That he could even think he could love someone else than Kahlan broke my heart. I mean, I know it's just book 2 and that he doesn't know her as well as he does eventually later, it really was making me wheep that he could doubt Kahlan so bad ( and throw away her lock of hair, after she told him to hold on to it and believe in her and her love for him... *sigh*) How he could even think to try getting over her by getting it on with Pasha. Man did I hate her while reading xD

Well that certainly sounds like a worrying factor, I wouldn't have thought the translation could have made such a difference. Let's just hope that was an anomaly and the rest of the books are as they should be.

I loved Pasha Maes. And by that I mean that I loved when Richard first met her.

She scolds him like a little boy and tells him that his weapon is too dangerous so he needs to hand it over.

"No. Not just no, but Hell No. Did you miss the part when I said I'm keeping this with me and I'll kill anyone who tries to take it away?" O.o

A the end of Stone of Tears was Pasha taken by the keeper? I got that impression but it seems very harsh since as others have said she seemed mostly misled. Personally I felt sorry for her becuase she had been wiating so long for Richard to turn up and he was possibly the most awkward charge possible.

As far as I understand, she never took the "vows" as the other sisters of the dark did, so she wouldn't have been sent to the "bad" underworld for failing to kill Richard.

Personally, I kind of liked her. We all know that clingy chick, and I have a soft spot for them. I was a little sad when she died, I always thought she could have been one of Richard's greatest ally.

i like pasha a lot, though she is a little gullible and easy shes awesome. and i know that richard and kahlan love each other but you cant blame her for trying. she was criticizing at first but once they got over the whole death is all you do she was nice and a good person.
