Jen my mom and I did notice Cara's hair and it was a bit distracting. We had to rewatch her scenes a couple times first to see what was going on with her hair and then to actually know what was happening in the scenes.

I'm curious if any of the guys noticed this. I missed it and Kurt said he only noticed because Jenn mentioned it to him.

I know the reason I didn't notice was because I was looking at Cara's...I mean the beautiful countryside...yea that was it.

I liked the part when Nicci told Richard he shouldn't go around saving everybody but I liked it better when Cara did it, with the little headshake at the end.

Sorry to disagree with you guys but I don't think Emily is nearly as good as Jolene was, and based on her previous roles, I'm sure she could pull off being this side of Nicci better too, she didn't get a lot of chance to look evil in her two episodes. She didn't win two Saturn Awards (and had 2 more nominations) for nothing.
I'll say it again, she did good (great in the last scene) but not quite good enough (IMHO).

And Cara's hair looked different indeed, I've only noticed it now, thanks to you. But what if she just wanted to change it after parading around as a princess in the last episode? Or Kahlan cut her hair while she was sleeping as a practical joke. And now we can't see the Agiel marks on Kahlan, because they are at a special place.

I have to admit I didn't notice the hair thing but that bodes well for my masculinity meter. It will be interesting to re-watch the episode wirh this in mind though.

It was harder than I thought, kept getting distracted by other things no wonder we missed it earlier. I do see now what Kurt was talking about, Cara's hair looked pretty close to the freshly cut look in Marked. Maybe we will see the braid in next episode now.

i loved it
it was great - and went with FotF which was awesome
it's really funny, the fact everytime, Richard has to go somewhere else (palace of the prophets) and come back (from being with nicci) R&K kiss and then Cara makes a silly remark and Richard goes along with it and Kahlan just stands there looking at Richard's eyes but smiling at the convo which is taking place but seems to her it is beyond what anyone else can see, like she is smiling at something only her minds eye can see i love those bits

thats the essence of their love or bond - that IS richard and kahlan.
