When Does Legend Of The Seeker Air In Your Area?

    Hey everyone,

I was very disappointed to find out that the TV station in my local area that airs the show has decided to move back the air time to just past midnight on Saturday nights.

So before I call them to complain I thought I would check with other folks to see when the show airs in their area. Maybe other stations don't air the show until very late on Saturday or maybe not even until Sunday. Figured it might be best to get a bigger picture of what happens in other markets.

So when does the show first air in your local area and where are you located?

Thanks very much for your help,

    Kevin

Though I have multiple airings on different channels the absolute first airing time for a new episode in my area is on Channel 54 WGN-America at 3pm Saturday.

Hi Kevin. I have dish net and show comes up Saturday night on channel 235 at 10:00pm, but I recall seeing at about 5:00pm on Saturday but I wasn't sure of the channel. The very first time I had ever watched the show, and I had never heard of it before that time, was on SyFy channel. They were doing a marathon of all season 1. I think it was the SyFy channel.

Here in Pittsburgh, PA it currently airs at 9:00pm on Saturday nights on my CW station. During the football season it aired at 4:00pm on Saturdays because of a Steelers talk show at 9:00pm on the CW. But the regular time slot is 9:00pm on Saturdays.

I also get it on WGN which shows the previous week's episode at 4:00pm and follows with the new episode at 5:00pm, on Saturdays.

Thanks for the replies so far everyone.

Like many of you my co-hosts on both podcasts, The Seeker Cast and Tuning In To Scifi TV, are all able to watch it on WGN on Saturday afternoons. I have Comcast as my cable provider and they don't carry WGN.

I'm also jealous that some of you have multiple airings over the weekend. I only get it once. I think part of the limited airings for me is that the local station that carries it here is an ABC affiliate and not a superstation (i.e. WGN) or a CW affiliate. The ABC affiliate has a lot more national shows that they are obligated to air in prime time.

    Please keep the answers coming.

    Thanks again,

    Kevin

Here in Rochester, NY it airs Saturdays at 4PM and Sundays at 9PM on the same channel. Unfortunately, it isn't a good quality television channel so I download the 1080p version of the show from Xbox LIVE and enjoy it that way.

    Hey Kevin,

I also have Comcast and don't get WGN, but they do show it on the FOX affiliate at 5pm on Saturday.

In Germany it takes about a year untill they air the newest episode.
However, that's why I watch it online.

The worst thing is that it takes that time to translate it to something that is more like a raping than anything else. And you get this weird no acting possibe voices.

But it airs on Sunday at 5 pm. The slot isn't really that good but with very few exceptions genre TV usually isn't aired at prime time.

In my area it's on channel 14 (which isn't ABC or CW but I think affiliated with fox in my town it says my-insert city-tv) at 10:00pm on Saturdays and then on Sunday at 11:30pm (but it's the episode before the new one so it's not a repeat of the night before so it comes in handy if your an ep. behind).

If the timing isn't good for you, it shows on hulu.com.

In central Texas it airs at 9 pm on Saturday on our local CW channel, but it is the previous week's episode. I see it also airs at 3:30 am on Saturday on CBS, but I've never stayed up to see which episode it's airing. =P

Netflix has the episode available for streaming on Monday afternoon or evening.

    Thanks for those recommendations.

I have watched the episodes on Hulu and Netflix streaming but in both cases they don't have the latest episode until Monday at the earliest.

For part of season 1 my local affiliate was airing the show at 7pm on Saturday and I really liked that time slot.

The feedback so far has been very helpful...keep it coming.

    Thanks,

    Kevin

Seems like my post got deleted. Maybe because of the link?

However, if you care about synchronisations it doesn't make any sense to watch TV in the German language area. Every synchro sucks and 99% of all German productions suck even more. I had to stop watching Scrubs on TV because I spend much time watching it in English. Then I noticed that J.D. has the same German voice as Jamie Oliver, Dr. Cox -> teacher from Malcom in the Middle, Ted Buckland -> Brie's (Desperate Houswives) first husband and the best one: Keith -> Son Goku from DBZ. Moreover all the wordplays get lost.

But that's not the topic here.
