Season 1 will be released in Germany on amazon.de on August 26th, that means region 2

    http://www.amazon.de/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_...gend+of+the+se

Before someone post that the german release is known already, I just pointed this out as the box seems to feature not just the german version. It also has polish, hungarian, french and english.

That's strange, LotS hasn't been aired in Hungary yet, at least I haven't heard of it, unless it was on some cable channel, but I doubt that.

Not the first time it happens. As much as I know Chuck and The Big Bang Theory were also out on dvd with Hungarian subs and dub before any Hungarian network broadcast them. I heard that the region 4 dvds of an old series Lois and Clark have Hungarian dub and subs years before they were released in Hungary.
I hope that information is accurate, I’m very curious which actors will dub the characters.

I don't have high hopes, Hungarian voices usually suck compared to the original actors, or sometimes they are mediocre. I've rarely heard really good Hungarian versions, it's not only the actors' fault though, the translation isn't the best either.

I agree. The only Hungarian versions I can stand are the ones I heard sooner than the original ones. But now I watch everything sooner than they arrive to Hungarian networks. So now every Hungarian dub suck to me. Not to mention the same 10 or so actors whom you can hear everywhere.
And yes the translation most of the time negligent.

Subtitling is cheaper than dubbing... it could save networks a lot of money - but would put those same 10 actors out of a job.
